The 3 Keren Routes

Mentors. Key Workers. Signposting.

Mentors (prevention)

The mentor role facilitates the prevention of any issues escalating and developing. They are there for lower-level cases.

Our mentors are non-judgmental, understanding and patient. They create a safe space for their service user, by providing consistent weekly support.

Key Workers  (support and management of cases)

Key workers are offered to girls with moderate to high-risk vulnerability who require higher intensity support. They tend to manage high risk mental health, social, and emotional issues, offering practical support, financial guidance and medical advocacy.

Signposting

Keren helps our girls to understand what other providers are available to help them. This may include NHS services, therapy options, social care agencies, or different supporting charities. We work with many organisations to ensure that we can refer our girls to the best service provider for them.
