Who we are

Keren aims to provide practical and emotional support to girls aged 12-24 from the Orthodox Jewish community.

Keren offers non-judgmental one-to-one support, encouraging girls to live confidently and happily in their own surroundings. Enabling them to become healthier individuals, empowered to make informed and safe decisions, thereby allowing them to have a productive and wholesome future.

At Keren we assess each girl individually and ensure that the services offered are specific to their needs and level of risk. Within our safe and supportive environment, the girls are encouraged and supported in a tailored way.

Every service user, parent, worker and volunteer understands that confidentiality is paramount to our ability to succeed and we have strict policies for this.

The Keren Team is made up of a clinical supervisor, a safeguarding lead, 2 case managers and over 40 active mentors and keyworkers, a medical advocate and an office manager. We have a dedicated board of Trustees who steer the charity forwards.
